How wonderful Christmas Crazy! :D

Sadly, our city council voted a decade ago to no longer invest in Christmas lights. They gave the old ones first........then stated we'd be sans Christmas afterwards. And then passed an ordinance making it extra expensive to decorate your own and more difficult to get a permit to decorate. And some say there is no 'war on Christmas'?!?! :|

You have to have a permit to decorate for Christmas???

We are truly blessed. Our city counsel is full of professing Christians.
Before every city counsel meeting, they each pray individually aloud. Each one asking for God's guiding hand. Then, they start the meeting.
I believe God blesses our town, because or town blesses God.

You must have a permit per city ordinance if you place lighted figurines or inflatables in your yard. Even the back yard! Absurd.

Did you ever notice that the song "You're A Mean One, Mr. Grinch" does not mention Christmas?
In fact, it does not have anything associated with Christmas in it other than the name "Grinch".
I know we don't like the Grinch, but wow, what a hate song.
And I can't imagine a Christmas without it.
:P

You're a mean one, Mr. Grinch.
You really are a heel.
You're as cuddly as a cactus,
You're as charming as an eel,
Mr. Grinch.
You're a bad banana with a greasy black peel.

You're a monster, Mr. Grinch.
Your heart's an empty hole.
Your brain is full of spiders.
You've got garlic in your soul, Mr Grinch.
I wouldn't touch you with a
Thirty-nine and a half foot pole.

You're a vile one, Mr. Grinch.
You have termites in your smile,
You have all the tender sweetness of a seasick crocodile,
Mr Grinch.
Given the choice between the two of you,
I'd take the seasick crocodile.

You're a foul one, Mr. Grinch.
You're a nasty wasty skunk.
Your heart is full of unwashed socks.
Your soul is full of gunk,
Mr Grinch.

The three best words that best describe you,
Are as follows, and I quote"
Stink!
Stank!
Stunk!

You're a rotter Mr Grinch
You're the king of sinful sots
Your hearts a dead tomato squashed with moldy purple spots
Mr Grinch

Your sole is a appalling dump heap
Overflowing with the most disgraceful
Assortment of deplorable rubbish imaginable,
Mangled up in tangled up knots.

You nauseate me, Mr Grinch
With a noxious super nos
You're a crooked jerky jockey and,
You drive a crooked horse
Mr Grinch!

You're a three-decker sauerkraut
And toadstool sandwich,
With arsenic sauce!

What a great date with your wife Christmas Crazy! What could be better than Christmas crafts & shopping?! What will you be crafting this year? :scene:

No Christmas crafting for me this year. Unfortunately I will be having shoulder surgery on Tuesday. So I will be out of commission for a while. But I should be able to keep coming here while I recover.
Gotta keep up with my friends.

We received our first snowfall today, it has all but melted this afternoon but was a beautiful view to wake up to this morning, it really put a Christmas feel to the day. :smilecc:

saw on facebook that a former boss who now lives in Michigan had snow today. We are actually warmer than usual, 40´s and wet, like San Antonio Christmas.
