The dreaded day has finally arrived I will take my decorations down tomorrow .I must say though ive had a good innings as Dad says because they've been up since mid november But its still not long enough .Turning the treelights off tonight is like saying goodbye to an old friend Roll on November Blessings to you all x

Hi everyone well at least i will be keeping my decs up until the 7th as we celebrate the ephiphany on the 6th of January . Its the worst time for me ,undecorating but on the positive side we are on our way to Christmas 2014 Blessings to you all

We too took down our Christmas decorations. The outside lights are still up but no longer on. It is very much like saying goodbye to a cherished friend. I do have several Christmas books and movies that I have to watch though. I am trying not to get too stressed about my new job. Focusing on Christmas throughout the year helps me to do that. Tough first day back at work. There are of course the problems I knew about, but always new ones cropping up. Trying to keep my Christmas spirit up with

Classical Christmas Music. I will play it openly until next Monday, the end of the Swedish Christmas and then with headphones until the end of the month. We will continue to play Christmas stuff at home until the end of January and then resume the Friday Christmasses until Easter. We found last year that if we take a bit of a break between Easter and Christmas in July, we enjoy the "return" of the music that much more in the heat of the Summer.

When work gets difficult it helps me to remember how desperately long I waited for my Christmas miracle. And listening to Christmas music always helps too.

Good morning Christmas Friends! One of my goals for the year is to make it to the next level after Toy Maker. Not sure how many posts I need, but I am certainly going to try.
I am listening once again to Live365.com, Christmas 24/7 Classics. The problem is when I hear a song I like and click on the tab to see what is playing the CD cover and title pops up. I am finding alot more CD´s to add to my Christmas list. I like having physical copies as well as digital music. The internet has its place, but I do not like having my entertainment solely based on being "on line". We lost internet over the weekend for a bit, I was quite fine, pop a CD in the old fashioned boombox or play one from our own uploads to the computer. Hubby, howevever, was going nuts.

I can totally understand that. I just don´t like this idea of everything being on a "cloud". I like having something I can hold in my hand for my money. Besides, keeping a running Christmas wish list is fun.

Only 350 days till Christmas!!!

Thanks for that Christmas Crazy , must stay focused I left up some gold stars on the stairs and my antelope that looks a little like a reindeer still has holly leaves around its neck I miss my tree and decorations so much Ill be going to the U.K at the end of January . Its going to be quiet a trip . First to London , then to Sheffield for 3 days to see family . Then to Blackpool for 3 days to see mum . Then to Manchester and from their to Spain where my sister now lives . My daughter will meet me there and on the way back 3 days in London . I want to do the British museum and Harrods ,my daughter Madam tussards . Of course on my travels ill be looking out for christmas stuff as always books ,decs whatever . My sister has bought me a christmas trinket so i cant wait to see it and imagine where ill put it this christmas Blessings to you all x

What a very Christmasy family trip you have planned tinseltown!! I always find a little Christmas left out and enjoy it very much! Please post pictures of your trip if you have time. Stay safe & enjoy every memory created!

Merry Friday Christmas! Hoping to do some post Christmas cleaning this weekend and start putting things away.
