The family gathering made it feel like a continuation of Christmas...and the beautiful snow didn't hurt either. :flake: :gbhouse:

Enjoy your day off kiwidogy. :D Your weekend sounded Christmasy & wonderful!

Well, it seems I am to have a meeting on Monday with the big boss and the little boss (admin cheif) about the continuation of my employment. I do not think this is a bad thing as I was asked if I would consider working fulltime. I pray I understood correctly, my swedish is still not very good, and that I might get a Christmas in January present. We should also hear soon about hubby´s contract as it is up Feb. 15. So we pray we both have something to celebrate.

I listened to Christmas music on my way in and out of work today. It was a nice time as the snow fell. We received about 6 inches of snow today.

Continuing my exploration of new jobs. While I am blessed to have the job that I do, I know that my anxiety and nerves will not last long. Do you think Santa could use a big helper?! Ha! :santa:

I worked at Hallmark for 6 years. It was alot of fun (aside from the stress of working two jobs). I miss seeing the Christmas ornaments come out.

We got called on another apartment! It is nice to know we are "somebody" now and at least getting invited to view apartments. Here in socialized Sweden, there is a point system and a waiting list to change housing. This is for rentals. If you can afford to buy a house or apartment, it works the same way as most of the world. I guess. This one is similar to the last one but would give us alot more space for very little extra money. We are no. 9 on the list, so I doubt we get it. But, I am looking forward to seeing the building and floor plan to know if a similar unit would work for us. If we both get permanent jobs AND a new place to live I could be happy without any other Christmas presents from Santa.

Jolly, good luck with the apartment! A job at the local Christmas store would be wonderful! Perhaps a summer job?!

We have a Christmas store a half hour away, but I fear it wouldn't pay enough even at full time. Here's to looking to the future!

Happy almost Friday my friends
