NO, probably not. But as a summer job could be good. I worked evening and weekends along with another fulltime job. It is not a life I recommend, but sometimes you do what you have to do. I was also slightly younger then. I am not sure I could do it now.

We have an appt at 3 pm on Sunday to see the apartment! Woohoo! We are no. 9 on the list so I doubt we get it, but it is nice to get a bit further along in the process. And no matter who gets it ahead of us, that knocks someone off the list and moves us up! It feels almost as good as Christmas!

Merry Friday Christmas!

In the past I worked 2 jobs every day of the week. When I joined this forum I had 3 jobs. It is extremely unhealthy....exhausting & emotionally draining. It was a necessity but I would never recommend it!

Drivers licenses,
apartment hunting,
job hunting,
trying to keep jobs,
Christmas store franchise (I'd like to buy in),
Christmas music and snow,
100 posts,
Hobbit the movie,
and a nasty virus.
WOW! You all have been busy.

I like your summary of our post Christmas activities.

We have a neighbor in a nearby building who puts out a set of lights that look like 3 bells with ribbon between them. We always say "The bells are back" when they appear and "Christmas is over" when they are taken away. Today, I saw that someone in another building along the bus route has the SAME bell lights. We have been looking for them but with no luck I would LOVE to have a set. Well, since someone still has "the bells" out, it is therefore still Christmas!

That's a cute posting summary Christmas Crazy. We're a little behind on the # of posts in January to make our goal but I have faith we'll make it! :D

There are a few homes on my street that still have their Christmas lights up. It always nice to see them when I come home from work.

Got an early Christmas present today in the form of fulltime work as of 1 February. I wish I could say I am happier about it, but it comes at the price of doing all the registration for the whole department. I am a bit worried about that. I have done everything I am to do before, just not all at the same time.......I have not decided whether I should be glad or cry yet............neither the admin chief nor the prefekt will be around when all these things come together.........the admin cheif is going on maternity leave any time now and the prefekt is stepping down in June. I am wondering if I will live till next Christmas. ;-)

Hello CAYer's

I have missed being on here but it has been crazy around here and I decided to take a month off of all Christmas just to see how things went, let me say that was a tough month. I am now back to my old ways I was listening to Christmas music while doing some light housework which I haven't done since Christmas Eve (listening to Christmas music that is).

Received an early Christmas present last week, my oldest was accepted into University of Cincinnati, not only was she accepted but she was accepted into her major as an incoming freshman. I also received my white Christmas, a month late but it did come and my kids had enjoyed the first few days but after missing so much school and being out of routine my youngest two which are on the autism spectrum where very agitated with it and the littlest thing was setting meltdowns off.

Hope everyone has a great day and will talk soon. :smilecc:
