Picked up a package today and lost my ID in the process. NO Christmas fun! Praying they have it tomorrow when I go back and check. I tried calling on the phone but we did not communicate very well.

[quote="Jolly O'Leary"]Got an early Christmas present today in the form of fulltime work as of 1 February. I wish I could say I am happier about it, but it comes at the price of doing all the registration for the whole department. I am a bit worried about that. I have done everything I am to do before, just not all at the same time.......I have not decided whether I should be glad or cry yet............neither the admin chief nor the prefekt will be around when all these things come together.........the admin cheif is going on maternity leave any time now and the prefekt is stepping down in June. I am wondering if I will live till next Christmas. ;-)[/quotJ

Jolly: you prayed for full time & God has granted your Christmas miracle! He gave you this position & He will keep you in it. I am not saying it will be easy! He keeps even in stressful places. I've been there & declare He is faithful. Praying for His peace & wisdom to flood your heart. I believe in you!!!!!

I have missed being on here but it has been crazy around here and I decided to take a month off of all Christmas just to see how things went, let me say that was a tough month. I am now back to my old ways I was listening to Christmas music while doing some light housework which I haven't done since Christmas Eve (listening to Christmas music that is).

Received an early Christmas present last week, my oldest was accepted into University of Cincinnati, not only was she accepted but she was accepted into her major as an incoming freshman. I also received my white Christmas, a month late but it did come and my kids had enjoyed the first few days but after missing so much school and being out of routine my youngest two which are on the autism spectrum where very agitated with it and the littlest thing was setting meltdowns off.

Hope everyone has a great day and will talk soon. :smilecc:

Just great to have you back at CAY ksrjreed! :D

How you lasted a whole month without any Christmas is amazing to me. Although I take your point about it enhancing our appreciation of it all.

Your loving patience with your autistic spectrum children is inspiring. They are special packages of God's love needing extra patience. God bless you! :smilecc:

Snow day today. We got hit by winter storm Leon last night. No biggie for us. We got out of work yesterday at noon and will go back tomorrow morning. We only got 1"-2" of snow, but it has shut everything down. Even the Air Force Base was closed.
But the snow is beautiful. It finally looks like Christmas here.

Stay safe those affected by the winter storm. Drink plenty of hot cocoa and listen to so e Christmas music while you watch the snow fall. If you have time, get out there and play in the snow like you are 8 again!

Congrats on the snow Christmas Crazy! WE got another dusting last night. Perky said we might have to make a snowBALL man and take a really close up pic! I said it is not snowing because I said this year I wanted to make a snow man. :snowwow: :snowkiss: :throw:

Hej! My ID was found in the street by someone who lived nearby. He called my cell phone. WE have a national data base which most of the time I really do not like anyone having access to my address, cell phone, etc, but times like this is does come in handy. It was only when I was walking down the dark street (at 4:30 pm) to meet the guy in front of a closed restaurant (forgot that part, thought it would be open) that I began to wonder if it was a good idea........but it worked out. He did not kidnap me. It was very glad to have it back.

Today is the last day of "official christmas music" for us. We will switch to Friday Christmases until Easter and then take a total break until Christmas in July. Last year I found it made it all the more fun to celebrate the return of the Christmas music.

Merry Friday Christmas!

Santa Got Lost in Texas from Christmas on the Pondersoa. Imagine me listening to that trying to keep from cracking up on a Stockholm bus and tapping my heel........The whole album is also on YouTube. The spiritual by Pernell Roberts had me wanting to raise my hands in praise............

warning: do not listen to this in a place where you have to be quiet. It is too Christmas fun.

Just had a celebration dinner with Perky at our local restaurant. Best steak I have had this side of TExas at a Lebanese pizzaria. It was as good as Christmas dinner. :dinner:
