This week is almost like Christmas as it is my birthday on Thursday. I a very lucky to be spending it with my family and friends.

I believe that I will be organizing my Christmas decorations downstAirs in the basement over the February school break. I have been able to hold out this long... What's 2 more weeks?!

My nephew announcing that he proposed to his girlfriend that (Christmas) morning.
She said "Yes".

My cats did too. I think they liked the warmth from all the Christmas lights.

My Christmas Memory #4:
We bought a bunch of the round glass ball ornaments (red, blue, silver, gold, green) and added them the tree with all the traditional ornaments that we usually decorate with.
It made the tree look really neat and full.

Just a quick "hej" for my Christmas friends. I am fighting a terrible cold and am quite ready to surrender..........I had two biopsies on Monday (separate issue) and will get the results in 4 weeks. The dr did not seem too concerned. Never sure how to take that in Sweden. ;-)
Praying Perky gets his new contract this week. It would be nice in case the landlord asks for financial information. I do not think they will. Perky has lived in his current apartment for 28 years! Wow, definitely time for move. I can´t wait to plan how to decorate our new place for Christmas!

Filling my wife's stocking with candy and $10 gift cards to Ross and TJ Maxx.

Wishing all my Christmas friends a very Happy Valentine´s Day! We might go to the lebanese restaurant across the street tonight or we might stay home for get well or die ramen and grilled cheese sandwiches.........

We will sign the contract on our new apartment next thursday, 20 februari, at 18:00.
Now THAT feels like Christmas!

It is not a Christmas memory, but it appropriate for today!

My favorite valentine´s day memory comes not from an ex boyfriend or husband, but actually from the husband of a friend. It was one month into my separation and I was part of a ladies bible study that met on Saturday mornings. Most of us were single, divorced, separated, etc. My friend´s beautiful husband (yes, other people have them too) went to the grocery store and bought each of us a cinnamon twist and a flower (rose, I think) and gave them to us at the end of the study. I remember we thought it was odd that we even saw him as he usually vacated the premises before we arrived and did not return until we were done. I guess he needed a "head count".

Happy Valentines day to you all . Christmas weather in the states again Just back from my travels and had a great time even if i was in London then Athens all night and still not slept Found lots of Christmas goodies . A wooden Santa calendar ,great personilized christmas cards at half price . 2 lovely christmas biscuit tins .one with the 12 days of Christmas and a Christmas book Bought a lovely childrens xmas book ,so cute wiyh pages for Christmas recipies and my pice de resistance a christmas jumper with a christmas tree on which i found in Spain The British museum was great but the weather was awful so Thank God we got home safe but praying for all those around the world with continuing weather problems Blessings to you all x
