What did you do today?

We were out most of yesterday. We had to travel to Birmingham (England) so Kevan could get his medical exam done for his Cdn visa. After that we treated ourselves to Pizza Hut and went to the new Indy movie.

The weather can't make up its mind today, but at least its warm and I've got windows open. Catching up on the housekeeping (how on Earth do two adults make so much laundry?). May go for a walk later. Have a great day and a fab weekend folks!

I collected the remote control that I had on order for my camera - now I can take pics of me :jump:

I also caught up with some friends for a coffee and a chat - was nice, I have not seen them for ages.

Worked, cleaned up the spare bedroom (it was a bit dusty), managed two loads of washing and I have just finished a quick tidy of the house before I have a shower and prepare dinner.

I will probably sweep through tonight as I did not get a chance to do it last night.

Some days it feels like it never ends.

Kevan took Friday off, if only to work from home. We got out for a bit of shopping and walking. The local butcher has a sign up now, advertising their Christmas Club!

Today I've cleaned and cooked and now I'm catching up on my beloved Christmas sites.

I still need to clean the house for the youngest party on Saturday. I'm going to take a room or two at a time. At least the ones that will be visible to everyone when they come over. Today it will be the living/dining room. Wish me luck!

A long exhausting day at the hospital which is taking a huge toll on my Mom. She has severe osteoporosis with a scoliosis of the spine plus she is in the first stage of Alzheimer's disease. But I believe in family being at the bedside........it DOES help a loved one to fight and recover..........and where else would a daughter want to be? At her Dad's side!
