I know some people think it is way to early but living in a house with 2 autistic children who, once November gets here and school is out of schedule, their day to day will be out of schedule, doesn't need to have the "safe place" going through a major change as well, we have been doing this for eight years and it has made everyone happy in my home and it has actually given my children more of the true Christmas perspective, they worry about others, know that we celebrate the birth of the risen Savior, and just enjoy spending time with family. So to everyone out there, Merry Christmas and I hope everyone has a great day.![]()

We went years just trying to get him to tell us what he wants for Christmas, we would usually just get "toys" or "presents" out of him, today we asked him what he wants and he had a list, so hopefully that means that what we have been doing is working and the slow transformation to Christmas is helping, but don't worry about the other holidays, he also let me know that for Halloween he wants to be an army man.
