[Christmas Crazy]

a Friend of mine asked me to draw her up an "A Christmas Story" Tattoo

so this is what i did for her.

i told her when she takes it to her artist to make the leg alot bigger so it's a center piece of the tattoo and not just a small item in the center.


thought some of you would enjoy this image.

Merry Friday Christmas! today is disputation day for one of our long-term phD's. so, Jolly is being the maid today, serving and cleaning up after others. Hubby said I needed a French maid costume, but I am thinking one from downtown abbey would have more character. Good thing he is Christmas cute.

Its 6:50 am and I'm sitting in the local Denny's restaurant with my tablet..And i feel l like yelling merry Christmas to everyone..but I don't relish the thought of the guys in the white suits and restraining jackets being my ride "home"...I am starting my Christmas shopping in October ..I'd planned to start this month but unexpected bills got in my way..am SO feeling christmassy already!!!

awesome...i take the family to denny's every christmas season....just like in the movie Santa Clause lolol ... we go other times of the year to, but i just make sure we do at least once during the christmas season.

How was everyone's weekend? Did you do any Christmas shopping?

This did keep me awake last night. So, around 2 am, I get up for my usual nightly run and then the thought hits me: Now you have to show that your electronic devices power up to get them through security or they may be confiscated. Ok, for the Stockholm run, that is no problem. but after using on the plane during the 10-12 hour flight, they might not pass muster for the Chicago leg. I do not remember if you go through the same screening to get on to a connecting flight (we will have to change terminals in Chicago) or if once you are "in", you are "in". Unless we get the first class upgrade with the plug ins for electronic devices, they will most likely be depleted by the second run. I can live without using them, just don't want them confiscated. Anders said he will take his battery operated mp3 and use inflight entertainment for the rest. I am not thrilled with packing the Samsung Galaxy 5 or my nice new mp4 in checked baggage either. books, magazines, and newspapers were easier, but take up space and are heavy. Oh, the Christmas dilemma...........
