we are really first class Citizens now! I Think I have dropped my keyboard once too often, the space bar is really tough to use. Maybe Santa will bring me a new one for Christmas. OR I can switch with hubby, should be good excercise for his fingers!

So excited! I have two different Christmas skits I want to do with my youth group and I can't choose which one to do. Also, I will finally be putting up outside lights tonight and watching some Christmas movies as well.

On a side note I am so proud of my youth group at church, we had collected items for the shoebox gifts and instead of wanting to send them overseas my youth group wanted to donate it to one of our fellow church members who does mission work with homeless. Made me feel good that they wanted to think of those kids here who have nothing. When we announced it at church I though the man we were donating them to would never stop shaking hands and hugging everyone. :smilecc:

Greetings from the Great State of Texas! We are enjoying our visit with family. Unfortunately, hubby lost his swedish passport on the way here, so we have to make an unscheduled side trip to Houston which is now christmas fun. We will make a road trip out of it as we were scheduled to stay in the Hill Country on thursday night. Maybe we will get in some small town Christmas shopping for the swedish relatives!

It has become increasingly aware to me that the wife is trying to make it hard for me to shop for her online. Every time I sneak onto my computer she comes looking for me to do some meaningless chore. She knows that I am trying to Christmas shop and she will not make it easy. I love the fun games of Christmas. :smilecc:

Having Open House today! It is a smaller group than we had hoped but will be nice to see old friends. Looking forward to Thanksgiving and putting up the Christmas tree on First Advent with the kids. We are not "dog people" but there are three big dogs in the family and they have adopted us. Once is laying on the floor beside me as I type. Reminds me of 12 Dogs of Christmas. Watched a couple of Hallmark movies on the road trip and somethign is on tv now. Too busy to pay attention. Have to get back from Walmart and see which Christmas movies we want to buy.
