"Home Alone".

Postby Joanna » Thu Apr 24, 2008 3:48 pm

Eight-year-old Kevin McCallister (Macaulay Culkin) has become the man of the house, overnight! Accidentally left behind when his family rushes off on a Christmas vacation, Kevin gets busy decorating the house for the holidays. But he's not decking the halls with tinsel and holly. Two bumbling burglars are trying to break in, and Kevin's rigging a bewildering battery of booby traps to welcome them!

:flake: This is a fun family flick filled with great Christmas music! And what child hasnt dreamed of having everything their own way at Christmastime? I did! Then they miss their family! And the deeper lesson on forgiveness stands the test of time! :throw:

Not one of my favourites, but worth seeing if you've not already viewed it. :flake:

Kevin may have missed his family during the film, but at least he had a way of rebelling against them. Consider him "A Rebel with a Cause."

When this film was first released, I was all set to not enjoy it and in the end, I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed it. :smilecc:

I saw Home Alone 3 only once, and horrible is how I sum that one up. Home Alone 4 I haven't seen..yet.

Of the first 2, I liked the 2nd one (remember when Kevin said he wanted to see Christmas trees AND have a vacation by himself, well he got his wish). And anyone who thinks he got on the wrong plane is wrong themselves, he got on the right plane (the one to NY; had he taken the one to Florida he would NOT have gotten to see his beloved Christmas trees or take a trip by himself).
