I love that, now I have to look up how to make Christmas wassail. Hubby had a telefone interview with a recruiter today and has an in person interview on Friday. The job is 50% but it is a start. Let the interviews keep Rolling in!

This is Sleigh Ride in July from the Crooners Christmas album. It is the words I know, is it possible that Sleigh Ride in July is the original title? There is nothing about "july" in the lyrics. I was slightly disappointed.

now this is more like it........Sleigh Ride in July by Francis Langford. Very nice for Christmas in July. Evidently, the author of my download got the title wrong. Would have loved to have heard this done by Bing too........

Happy Saturday Noel and all.
Michelle and I went fishing this morning. Tons of fun. Now we're watching Georgia and Florida play women's college softball. Last night I watched a movie I had recorded from December called "The Christmas Parade". It put me in the Christmas mood big time. This morning I asked Michelle what she wanted for Christmas. She told me what she wanted for Mother's Day instead. I love her.

Perky had a good interview and will find out next week if he goes on to the next round. Job is 50% with flexible hours. 50% pay is about what unemployment pays and keeps the elves out of the clutches of the evil Winter Bolt so one can continue to look for better jobs at ones own pace. In 2 weeks we will be on a short trip to Dublin which will be almost as much fun as Christmas! Trying to Think of Movies to Watch to get in the mood, Christmas or otherwise. Right now I am listening to an iWalk Dublin podcast.

April 16-26 is Fiesta in San Antonio, a city wide historical and cultural event that is almost as much fun as Christmas. LIke Christmas, I miss the "atmosphere", hearing spanish everywhere, mariachis, parades, school and Church carnivals, etc. We made tex mex cheese enchiladas and rice for dinner. It is enough to make me homesick again.
