HAPPY SUNDAY!!

Its almost 5am & 80F. Why I am awake is a puzzle. It reminds me of Christmas Eve: sleeping family & peaceful quiet.

Wishing each of you a blessed day. :holly1:

People who actually sleep at night baffle me. I have not slept "well" since about age 14, usually Wake up every 1-2 hours. waking up is not a problem if I go back to sleep in between. However, on the trip, I slept 4 hours in a row thursday after getting in. Hubby wondered if he should call the hospital. He thought I might sleep until Christmas. :sleephat:

Merry Super Sunday Christmas friends! Michelle, KK, and I went to Savannah, GA for the weekend and had a blast. We called it our mini vacation. Took in lots of sites and two ghost tours which were actually more history tours than ghost. And I also stopped by the Christmas store on River Street. Always a treat.
Hope everyone is well and had a blessed Sunday.

Great photo Christmas Crazy!

hit the ground running this morning at work. Praying Perky gets called in for a second interview at the school. School IT is something he enjoys. All we need is decent pay as long as we both work. Is it time for Christmas yet? so ready to exchange these spring allergies for snow again.

I so miss Hallmark! I wish they had a Netflix type service for those outside the US. I also always wondered why Hallmark has Christmas in July so early in the month. I was jut telling Perky that used to be Hallmark, Cartoon Network, and Disney did Christmas in July, during the week of the 20's. So, when are you celebrating? We will celebrate July 18-26 being in Germany the 22-24th, so no "Christmas in july" cruise this year. Meeting a friend from across the world (Malaysia) in a place across the world from him (Germany) is almost more fun than Christmas! :snowdeer:

Christmas in July Tv has narrowed down yo Hallmark only. ABC family used to show classic specials on the 25th but stopped a few years ago. We watch our favorites & enjoy the celebration. :D

I wish the Hallmark Channel would show the Christmas movies at the end of the month.
Have they always shown them at the beginning?

Yes, we are grateful for our Christmas collections. We bought a few Hallmark movies while in TExas in November, I am thinking North Pole might have been one of them. I am sure my aunt and uncle were glad for us to leave so they could watch something other than Hallmark movies on Tv.

I had a memory flash on that from my Hallmark Days, which is when I personally started Celebrating Christmas in July again. I believe it coincides with the ornmanent premier. A friend sent me the online Christmas ornament catalog. I was amazed, so much more than we used to have. I will not discuss how much money I used to spend on them. Now they sit in two big boxes in basement at the top of world because there is no room to put it out. Sometimes it makes me Christmas sad. If we move again, I probably will not move them but dump them instead. There comes a sad time in life when space and simplicity outweigh past monies spent.

Last year on May 15 a friend of mine posted on FB that Hobby Lobby (where she works) had started setting out Christmas decorations. I just sent her a message asking if they had anything out yet. I just can't wait!

Merry Friday Christmas! Wearing my guiness socks from Dublin today and off on a cruise with Perky next week! Still hoping he hears from the school job. he said they did not seem to be in a hurry.....but it would be nice to be settled in something even if we know we have a few more months of "Poverty" before he starts getting paid. Keep those Christmas prayers coming!
