46F this morning in Stockholm. That almost feels like a San Antonio Christmas.

:holly1: You have so many fun trips & adventures Jolly. That is definitely Christmas fun! :D

That's the great thing about living in Europe. Travel is relatively cheap. It makes waiting for Christmas much easier.

No details yet, but Perky sent a message that he is heading for eye surgery. (meaning long haul, not immediately). Will know more when I get home.

Praying for Perkys surgery....please keep us listed. Thanks :D

Perky said it is cataracts. He is 53 but my former boss in San Antonio had them "early". My mother said they had to be "ripe" before surgery is done. It sounds like no Christmas fun to me. His next check up is August 8.

Only 170 days till the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.
Then the rest of the world will join us for the Christmas season.

Perky had an interview today with an IT company. It is for a "Jr" position with not much pay, but about twice as much as unemployment. ON the plus side it is fulltime and permanent. The company was okay with our short hop to Germany in July. He has the second interview tomorrow and if they like him will start on Monday. They are interviewing 3 in the second round. It would be a better situation than the preschool despite the low pay. My prefekt said sometimes you just need to get your foot in the door............praying for God's will and the best outcome. Maybe Christmas comes in June. :gbhouse:

He said the pay is less than the preschool but it is in a better neighborhood and will be moving even closer in the fall. He said he is 66% closer to having a job. He is too Christmas cute. :muffs:
