So looking forward to our trip to Germany. Spent the afternoon watching Primeval on Netflix with Perky. I could do all Christmas all the time, but I try not to tax his patience. Merry Christmas in July!

Alas, I had taken next weekend off for their annual celebration and cannot exchange those dates. Oh, well, its not as if I don't have the garage/closets stuffed full of Christmas wares!

I had a friend in the US that would take off to Watch the QVC Christmas in July Marathon as well. That's when it was actually over the 24th and 25th or so. We have lost touch but I bet she was also super disappointed in the new format. I looked at the Schedule but could not identify any particular Christmas programs. The time difference makes it difficult to Catch something at the right time. I have the same problem with BBN. It would be nice if QVC would archive the programs for later viewing as well as have the merchandise on the website. The Selling is the fun part to Watch. I have never actually bought anything.

Some recruiter here at the North Pole sent me a job posting out of the blue.......It is for an "administrative specialist" (have to remember that fancy job title) here in Stockholm for an American Company called Parexel out of Maryland. They sell Medical Equipment. I thought it was pretty *Christmas Amazing since I am not actually job hunting yet. So, I applied. It is a long shot as they want someone with a Master's degree (I only have a Bachelor's in English), but pretty cool to have been contacted directly. Who knows, might be an early Christmas present in the making. I know I have a job at least until December and most likely until the end of the spring term at least, but would also e nice to have an option Before then. I am now 50, and finding jobs gets more difficult from here on out.

Remember 2 years ago when I mentioned she struggled to find employment. The law prohibits age discrimination but companies know how to get around that obstacle. It seems the world has a youth focus. But God's always makes a way! [/color][/b]
