Bebop Santa over at FaLaLaLaLa.com shared this and I’m passing the savings on to you.

TV Characters Sing Just For You, Vol. 4 - Christmas Fun (2007) is a December 21, 2007 post in You Don’t Have To Visit This Blog. I beg to differ because nomwl1 has thirty-four tracks of TV celebrities crooning Christmas tunes! From Howdy Doody to Ally McBeal, this is a wide range of TV tunes through the years. The Partridge Family is in as well as Mr. Magoo, Dennis Day, Ren & Stimpy and a host of others. I mean, where else are you gonna find Antonio 'Huggy Bear' Fargas from 'Starsky & Hutch singing “It's Christmas”?

The download takes you to Rapidshare or Megaupload (your option) where the tunes are available in a zip file. After downlaoding, one will have to unzip the tunes to listen and/or extract (move) them to another user created folder. You do not have to create an account or purchase a premium membership to download. Click “free” and follow the prompts. Free downloads may take up to twenty minutes, so be patient. If you have any questions, just ask.

http://youdonthavetovisit.blogspot.com/ Scroll down three (at post time) blog entries to TV Characters Sing Just For You, Vol. 4 - Christmas Fun (2007). The entry includes a complete playlist with download options at the bottom.

Singer/Songwriter Marshall Crenshaw had a radio show on WKZE in New York called "The Bottomless Pit"

Among the shows featured at http://www.marshallcrenshaw.com/radio.html is a Christmas show. Stream or download the December 21, 2005 show in three parts.

Here's one that didn't get in the NPR search above -

Listen to 'A Car Talk Christmas Carol' ("Scroogiozzi Brothers") - http://www.npr.org/templates/story/stor ... Id=4231170

Halarious! Even if you don't know who Tom and Ray Magliozzi (Click & Clack) are.

Here's around 150 OTR Christmas shows on a web site called Fab Radio - http://worldpeacepoll.com/fabradio/vint ... mas-shows/

Click the purple speaker next to "Listen to Vintage Christmas Show" This brings up a stand alone player with all the shows loaded into it. You may pick and choose shows in this neat old radio looking player.

If you want to go straight to the player (it will be full screen and not stand alone) here's the link - http://www.organicparents.org/mp3s/a_christmasOTR.html

These are streams only. It looks as if something is wrong with the website as there is a large blank space as if the show titles should be there. Fear not though, for the player has all of the shows listed with it.

This one has to be the most unique find to date! Jefferson Elementary School in
Mount Vernon, Washington has their 2006 Winter Program (can't say Christmas) available for download. From Kindergarten to Sixth Grade to Chorus to Band, one can download the program from one zip file or by each song listed by grade. This is really neat! :singing:

Here's a couple of never released to CD vinyl lp albums that some folks were looking for at MMC. Some of you may remember these. Thought I'd share the wealth!

Looks like "Christmas With Shirley & Squirrley and Melvin" is available here -

http://rapidshare.com/files/8249117/S_S ... ot.com.zip

It's in a zip file at Rapidshare. I went ahead and downloaded it to make sure things work okay. It downloaded fine and I spot checked one song and it played. The art work is there as well. If you need any help with anything else, just ask.

"Christmas With Shirley & Squirrley and Melvin"

1 A Squirrely Christmas
2 Deck The Halls
3 The Christmas Haunted House
4 The Christmas Song
5 Winter Wonderland
6 The Twelve Days of Christmas
7 Let It Snow, Let It Snow, Let It Snow
8 Medley: Jingle Bells-Jolly Old St. Nicholas
9 Twas The Night Before Christmas
10 Medley: Here Comes Santa Claus-We Wish You A Merry Christmas

I think "Christmas with the Lennon Sisters" is still available.

Hear Dylan Thomas' recollection of the sounds and smells of a long-ago Christmas in the seaside town of his youth from the Harper Audio release "A Child's Christmas in Wales."
