I'm watching 'A Supernatural Christmas'. Not the most festive show but I do love Christmas! And Sam and Dean! :smilecc:

Michelle and I had a great time Saturday at the festival. We bought a Christmas pillow and some Holloween decorations.
:smilecc:

On a sad note, I had to cancel our vacation this week to Charleston, SC. They are flooded from the 12+ inches of rain. We will try to go again next year.

Charlestown is such a beautiful city. So rich in culture and history. I just hate watching the news footage of the flooding there and in all the areas affected. The news said the cargo ship that's been missing has undoubtedly sunk and at least one body recovered. So heartbreaking! At least you have a wonderful vacation to plan and look forward to next year Christmas Crazy. :holly1:

Kudos on the shopping finds Christmas Crazy!

The rain/flooding in SC & areas is heartbreaking! Maybe next year?

I was watching that before I moved to the North Pole.
Is it still going? I have seen that episode. It might be closer to Nordic folklore than our modern Christmas.

Merry Tinsel Tuesday! Today is my name day. IN Sweden it is sort of like a mini birthday. Sometimes you get flowers and some cake with your coffee. After 8 years I finally figured out the Swedish "fika". "having coffee" is just having a cup of coffee. But a "fika" is an occasion sort of like the British tea time. As my name day is one day before Brittsommar (the "official" indian summer day) and coincides with the marvelous fall colors at the botanical gardens, one year, it is my fantasy for hubby and I to play hookey from work and go to the botanical gardens and have lunch. Not this year, I have the OT but Perky had an "environmental inspection" at work starting at 9 am and going "until.........." Maybe next year if he keeps a job. HIs name day is November 30. It is my fantasy to remember to send him flowers but as he works on the edge of one of the no-go zones, I would hate to find out the flower companies do not deliver there. Maybe I will just buy him some on the way home and say "surprise!".
:cheer: :leafjump: :thanks:

Happy Name Day Jolly! That is such a neat tradition.
I looked up my name and my Name Day, Rikard (Richard), is February 7th.
And December 25th is Juldagen (
Christmas Day). Not a name, but the name of the greatest holiday.
