Merry Monday! Hard to believe Halloween is almost here. This week is full of Fall Festivals and Pumpkin Parties. The buildup to Halloween is almost as busy as Christmas. :santachim:

Here's the link to one of my all time favorite Halloween shows. And it stars Garfield! Love it! :leafjump:

Hello everyone, I hate that I haven't been able to be on here like I want to be but life is busy. We are getting closer to Christmas which I love because that means 1. my favorite holiday and 2. things around here start slowing down.

The local news just had a story about Christmas shopping already starting and how there are some stores that may stay closed on black Friday, anyone else heard this?

It's always good to hear from you my Christmas friend. Life is surely busy, we understand. But we love it when our old pals check in.

I have not heard of stores closing on Friday. But I've seen some articles on stores no longer opening Thanksgiving night. I think people can take one day off from their Christmas shopping.

Christmas Crazy, it would be nice if stores were closed on Thanksgiving. Retail can take a break for one day and make all the money they need on Friday and beyond. Priorities people! :smilecc:

ksrjreed! It's wonderful to have you back at CAY. You've been missed Christmas friend. Do you have your Christmas tree up early again this year? We understand how committed to serving others you are, and your family priority we applaud, but still hope you can stop by here once in a while. Stay jolly my friend. :D

CC our local news mentioned last week that some big box stores are considering not opening THanksgiving night/Black Friday because they lost money Christmas being open the previous two years. Time will tell.

Kiwidogy I cimletely agree. Most people I know would prefer the stores to be remain closed because loved ones are required to work those days. When in college I worked Walmart on Thanksgiving, Black Friday, Christmas Eve the day afterwards. Not only was my time greatly reduced with family but I was also totally exhausted. Christmas & family should be their priority!
