The house is silent now. We remember Baby Jesus in that dark damp manger with Mary & Joseph and all the animals celebrating his birth. The greatest gift of all. We rejoice!

Wishing all my CAY friends a blessed Christmas Day! We woke up at 5:45 a.m. and Went to Julotta at 7 a.m. As Always, I am glad when we are there. Had a nice Swedish breakfast, then home for a nap. We got up again at 12:30, had Another snack, then started on our wartime inspired pork/turkey murkey. Turned out interesting. We even found the christmas dishes. It occurred to me that we had not used them in the new apartment yet. I wanted to find them since we hope to be having Christmas in San Antonio next year. It is 85F in SA. Told Perky to enjoy this Swedish "warm" christmas because it might be alot warmer in SA.

Merry Christmas my CAY friends!! Stayed up until 3am. Poor DH trying to put together toys while I watched Christmas movies. It works better that way. 
Waiting for my brother to arrive any minute after his 3.5 hr drive for breakfast! Then we're off to my sister's house for luncheon & dinner gifts. By the time we're home again I'll be ready for bed.
I do wish we had chapel today like when I was a child. Oh, well, Christmas Past remains in my heart forever!
