Gotta love his Christmas spirit.

Happy Groundhog Day Christmas Friends! I see that the Punxatawney Phil says spring is coming. I was watching the live feed but then got called away so I missed the "moment". The department is getting new tables over the next two days so Jolly the Janitor is going to have a tough few days. Perky went to work today. Will be interesting to see if he scared the kids. HE said they would either be scared or fascinated. Christmas seems very far away............

Sure hope his eye loooks a bit better than your photo AND that he is feeling much better too. Maybe the children will bring back Christmas joy to Perky & you.

It is looking slightly better. He said someone was staring at him on the bus. I said "weren't you wearing your sunglasses?" He said it was after dark. I thought he would wear them all the time when out since it is sensitive to light. He won't be looking straight into any Christmas lights soon! :gbhouse:  (red Eyes)

Thanks for the update Jolly. I would prefer sunglasses to someone staring at me. Perky is a brave Christmas soul!

Yeah, in some of the neighbors he has to go through, no one would notice, no matter the time of day. He has had no pain and not taken any OTC pain meds though they are allowed. I am sure it is no Christmas fun though.

It will definitely be more Christmas fun! :scene:

Yes, it is a nice Christmas milestone through the year. We do not do Friday Christmasses between Christmas and Christmas in July. It makes the return of the Christmas music that much more enjoyable, but once a month could be a nice extra. It's not Christmas exactly, but I watched Ice Spiders the other day. Nothing like a campy snow disaster movie. There are a few more on the Christmas TV History website I would like to try to find. They might fit right into our "Troll winter" viewing in February.

Changing out tables at work. Though we have movers to do the "heavy" work, directing and walking back and forth as well as carrying the occasional table is Christmas exhausting.

It's a whirlwind Thankful Thursday at my house. My brother is coming, with guests, this afternoon. The house needs cleaning; groceries for adults would be nice, and of course I want to make the home as warm and welcoming as possible. I am thankful to see my brother an extra day -- it averages 3 a year -- and next week I will see my sister. I am very thankful for sibling days! :smilecc:

I have been fighting a severe head cold this week that is no Christmas fun. Stayed on the couch all day and night yesterday, but was able to come back to work today. But on a positive note, it was my first cold since last winter.
