I think we have decided to really give Leon Day the full go, we will be eating our traditional ham Christmas dinner while we play music and then watching our favorite Christmas movies.

With June 25th being on a Saturday this year I really want to do something special. :smilecc:

Sounds wonderful. Be sure to post your Leon Day Christmas dinner menu. I'm Always looking for inspiration. :dinner:

Hello CAYer's

Well the new job is working out great, with one exception and that is when you are on a diet and your new job continually sends you into grocery stores to look at food you can't have, that is a test of willpower that they don't pay me enough to go through, but I love my work so I will manage. I wanted to let everyone about another special day that needs to be on the calendar (at least it is on my calendar) and that is Autism Christmas. April is Autism awareness month and on the 25th of April is Autism Christmas, my two youngest are ready to open presents and be celebrated for the accomplishments they have had over the last year. It really is a fun time. :smilecc:

Autism Christmas is an AWESOME idea!
Is it a local, regional, or nation wide holiday?

Merry Friday Christmas! Anyone watching the Hallmark Spring Fling movies? any good ones? I found last year's A Ring by Spring on another source but have not watched it yet. Sometimes they show up on Feeln. Oh, and I checked, Feeln does have "Christmas all year" movies. I think they put up a few more in July. Can't wait.

That sounds like an amazing family Christmas celebration. We have Crayfish Christmas in August because we usually wind up combining the annual August Crayfish party with Christmas in August. It works.........except for the Crayfish and maybe some folk music, there is nothing more to "Crayfish time" than drinking. So, we have our own quiet Crayfish party and Christmas in August at home.

I think Hallmark also has online viewing for personal devices if you have a cable company that has the Hallmark channel. I looked into it once, but my parents were not interested in sharing their cable account number with me. They were Christmas grinches. ;-)

Hello CAYer's

Today is the first day of baseball season for my kids, they are excited with the youngest being as excited as he would be at Christmas.

Hope everyone has a great Saturday. :smilecc:

Fiesta time in San Antonio makes me homesick. Hoping I can take Perky one year. Like Christmas it's as much about the atmosphere as the events. Viva Fiesta!
