Christmas will be here before we know it (can't wait).

The pastor of my church is a manager at the local Hobby Lobby store and he keeps me updated with their Christmas arrivals, and well,,,,,,,,it is in store waiting to be put out.

I told him I would see him at the beginning of June and he said he expected nothing less from me. :smilecc:

Our Hobby Lobby started putting out Christmas ornaments at the end of May last year. I'm going to go check this weekend just to see. #fingerscrossed

With Pentecost coming up this weekend, I am reminded that I wanted to buy some "dove stuff" last Christmas but totally forgot. oh well maybe next year. Pentecost as a Church day has virtually disappeared at the North pole. We Went to Church last year because I had never been to a confirmation service and with no kids and no friends with kids, was not likely to receive a special invite. As it was the normal sunday worship time, I was shocked to be greeted by my friend the janitor with "Hi, What are you doing here?..........." and our mumbled "um........going to Church......" I guess we will be watching Irish Church tv this year. Contemplating what red decorations I can pull out of the emergency christmas bag for a Pentecost balcony picnic. I am thinking to try chicken skewers since I have been craving them and though they won't be "flame grilled", we can imagine. mmmmmmm..........we do have red, orange, and yellow paprikas (bell peppers) in the stores.......this is looking up. Alternatively, "flaming" chicken fajitas is an idea......we eat alot of fajitas when it is too hot to turn on the oven.

Woke up way too early by a thunderstorm this morning. Guess I'll drink some coffee and get this day started. Have a great Thursday Christmas friends. :smilecc:

I just started reading Debbie Macombers 'Angels Everywhere'. It's two Christmas stories in one. :gbhouse:
