Merry Saturday Christmas!

Working this weekend so I expect it to be a quiet one. We are focusing on teaching the difference between Armed Forces Day....Memorial Day....Veterans Day. Looking forward to burgers & fries tonight. It is mid-90s here, so it definitely does not feel like Christmas. Hope your Saturday is a great one.

Wishing all my Christmas friends a safe and happy Memorial Day Weekend. Sunday is both Swedish veterans day and Swedish mother's day. We planted the cemetery last week for Mother's day. I asked Perky what he wanted to do Sunday, he said veteran's day dinner and mother's day dessert. So we are having "seamen"'s beef with a store bought rhubarb/strawberry pie.
we survived bathing the long haired cat today.Tomorrow is cleaning out the fridge day. Hope everyone has a good weekend.

It's officially summer break! We started our summer off right with a mini vacation with dd and some of her friends. A hotel pool and a trampoline park provided lots of fun.

Yesterday was my first day off in 5 consecutive days with 13 hr shifts. One joy of nursing is not rest. It felt wonderful to sleep and rest yesterday. Now I feel like the Christmas Elf I am in my heart. Hope all my Christmas friends are enjoying their day. 8-)

When you wake up at 6:30am and it is already 80F you know it is going to be a hot day. They are predicting it will be 116F on Friday and 117F this weekend! This Christmas Elf is desperately trying to THINK SNOW!!!! :oops:
