Since Perky works in a high crime area and I work as a janitor as well as an admin, we do not wear our "real" wedding rings to work. So I was thinking of these...

They are Hawaiian wood and tungsten rings. We had talked about getting wood rings for our 5th anniversary (you know, the "wood" one) but never did because one or both of us were unemployed then.

I ended up ordering a book for my dd but I forgot about the contest. Well the prize came in the mail today. It's a really neat set of wipe-off activity cards and three little first adventure books. A perfect gift to put up for Christmas for our very sweet niece.

I do not think we will need to take winter clothes as we go on the cruise closer to Santa's Christmas headquarters. I will take the denim shirt I have to wear as mosquito protection and a light hoodie and hope I get cold.

It's hot here too plus a ton of humidity. It can wear you down. Nothing like this past Christmas.
Stay cool my friend!
