just had a Swedish national day balcony picnic with my Beautiful Christmas elf.
He is now in meade making mode, wonder if he is making Christmas in July meade.

We dug some new potatoes Saturday and I cooked them with some fresh green beans. They were soooo good! It'll soon be time to start canning. Nothing tastes better than the veggies you grow and preserve yourself. And of course some of it will make it to our Christmas table.

I'm afraid to even think about Christmas food right now. I gained 13 pounds last Thanksgiving/Christmas and still have 10 pounds of it hanging on. I can't seem to lose it. But I really need too before October when we go on our week long cruise. This is so hard!!!
