This is the cutest video of a toddler song singing with his Dad. My brother shared it on Father's Day. And I thought it would brighten your day to see one of Santa's Christmas children bringing joy to the world.

And Christmas will coming quickly behind that.

Yay! I can't wait until we actually get dark again at night. Though the winter darkness is not fun either, it does lead to Christmas!

Just previewed the QVC & Hallmark Christmas in July programming. QVC is a bit of a disappointment as there are many blank spaces in July. But then a Christmas surprise is never a disappointment. :D

Yes, I prefer the Christmas in July concentration rather than spreading it out over the month. I have to see if their Christmas shows are on demand or just live coverage. That would be too Christmas cool. Then I could watch the shows I want rather than whatever is on at the moment. Otherwise I have to watch overnight which makes Perky a very unhappy elf.

Of course every room would be decorated and have Christmas tree. Each room would have colored lights and would smell of cinnamon and spices.

We went to Olive Garden for KK's birthday yesterday. It's hard to believe that my baby is 20 years old now. Am I getting old?
She got excited when I told her that Hobby Lobby has started setting out Christmas decor. I can see a window shopping trip coming soon.

We always buy Christmas Cards in bulk to have them for the following year.

I was walking thru the house tonight and it was very dark. Couldn't see a thing.
I wish we still had Christmas lights on in the house.

The sun is quite intense here at the North Pole. I feel like I could reach up and touch it. It is too hot to sleep and instead of being depressed we are not going anywhere for Midsummer, I am not glad and just want to go home and melt into the floor. I don't know how our desert Christmas elves manage it. I am thinking when we are not watching soccer that Christmas movies with snow are on the agenda! OH! and Perky got me a half Christmas present. A "half bathing suit". Actually, he got me some men's bathing shorts to use while bathing the highly unhappy Zoe cat. Denim shorts in the tub weren't working out so well.

I deleted my half Christmas post from the nudist resort even though you didn't see anything but the announcement because Perky said it gave people the wrong idea, but as hot as it is this weekend, I am beginning to see the appeal.......

That's one reason why I loved battery-operated candles in the spring/summer. Light but no heat or fire danger. It's a little Christmas glow when it seems far far away.
