We are heading to the beach this weekend. I'm going to wear my Charlie Brown Christmas t-shirt on Saturday (a.k.a. Leon Day).
That'll turn some heads.

Sad news my friends. I couldn't wear my Charlie Brown Christmas t-shirt to the beach today. Michelle and KK got sun burned so bad on Friday they couldn't go today. I was a little bummed. But we did have a good time on Friday then got up this morning and ate a big breakfast at Cracker Barrel, then went to Savannah for a few hours.
Now I'm tired and ready for bed. Have a blessed evening!

Turns out Perky thought Half Christmas was yesterday, the 24th (a Swedish thing "Christmas" is the 24th, the 25th is just an add on). So,I asked him if he celebrates Half Christmas on the 24th and I celebrate half chrismas on th 25th, does that make it a whole Christmas?

That sounds like a whole Christmas to me.

I hope everyone had a
Merry Half Christmas!

We had our shared Half Christmas muffin after lunch and watched Nick & Noel. I sang The First Noel to Perky before we got out of bed. Rest of the day was spent doing chores, trying to keep cool and having a relatively simple midsummer dinner. Leftover salmon will be turned into fish tacos later in the week.

Perky says today is the second (Annandag) day of Half Christmas. Seems he has it mixed up,with Christmas in August. We will be celebrating by the washing of the bedding at the laundromat.

Went to dinner with Perky and the restaurant was playing Christmas Music. Guess they were either celebrating half christmas or trying to make up for yesterday's heat wave.

I bought this ornament at Harbor Town Christmas store. It's 4 inches in diameter and only cost $12. Michelle said I liked it because it looks old. Just like me.
