Going to see Independence Day with Perky tonight. A date with hubby is almost as much fun as Christmas (even if I have to pay) ;-)

Enjoy your almost-Christmas-fun date with Perky. Let usknow what you thought of the movie. I'll compare it to my review.

We saw Independence Day because it was shown at our small local theater. There was only one other person in the room of 104 seats. he sat on our row because of the 3D affect. It was much better than I expected. I would buy it. Jeff Goldblom and Judd Hirsch are aging well. I think Judd Hirsch won the "age" contest. He didn't look all that much older.

I have seen a lot of red white and blue Christmas trees online. That is another great Fourth of July Christmas crossover idea.

Glad you enjoyed the Independence Resurgence movie. As per my review, I loved Brent Spiner's performance. I wouldn't buy the film though because here in the USA many stations still play the original movie every holiday weekend. If only that were true for great Christmas movies!

well, it seems that FeelN has discovered I am at the North Pole and won't let me Watch anything. I just renewed the subscription too. No Christmas fun! I guess I have to rely on my Christmas friends to keep me informed.

Hey my Christmas friend! Check into the Tor browser. It lets you surf the internet without others knowing where you are. I think you may be able to configure it so that it makes it look like you're from the USA.

Check it out, and if you can't figure it out, I can help. :D

So proud to be an American! Yesterday I overdid on sun, fun, and am quite exhausted. Stayed up all night watching movies. Looking forward to fireworks and concert tonight to honor our great country. Enjoy your 4th!!

I will ask Perky the IT Christmas elf if he knows what that is. Thanks for the tip!

Good morning Christmas friends, hope everyone had a safe and happy 4th. I am looking forward to checking to see if the national concert is viewable online. I was a surprised as a kid on Christmas morning to see the Memorial Day concert online.

Good Morning Jolly. We watched the PBS Conert and fireworks and it was spectacular. Everytime we checked CBS the Boston Pops concert was at commercial. Earlier we saw the lst 40 minutes of Macy's 4th fireworks. It was all beautiful. My favorite part is seeing Washington DC monuments skylighted in fireworks. They even had red-green fireworks in a heart shape which was Christmas perfect!

Tonight we're going to make a special effort to finally watch one of the Hallmark Christmas movies showing this week. So far, with the 4th and regular schedules, it wasn't possible. And I am looking forward to some Christmas cheer! :scene:
