I am always dreaming of a White Christmas like this one:

Just noticed early this morning that both HSN and QVC are having Christmas in July shows today. HSN continues that trend tomorrow. My only question is when did dates before July 24-25 get voted as official July celebration dates? Oh, well, I am happy with Hallmark's Christmas movies being shown any time.

I think some people are confused about Christmas in July. Just like Christmas, retailers start early to make the most of it. But you won't hear me complaining about watching Christmas movies all July long. :scene:

I bet if you find a quaint Christmas themed B/B and whisk her away for a Christmas in July weekend, she'd be hooked.

I liked it better when QVC had a more focused Christmas in July feature, but oh well. We have dicussed changing our home celebration since the Santa World Congress is usually a week ahead of what we Think it should be. But, then I decided that it had to be so all the Santas could be back in Place by July 24-25. My Merry Christmas had an article that said Santa takes Christmas in July off completely and is no where to be found, but the elves celebrate. So, I guess all the Santas are in Copenhagen for fellowship and refreshment. Though if you look at the pics, they look pretty hot in their Santa suits. Personally, I prefer a more focused week of activities to lift the Christmas spirit in the middle of the heat and whet the appetite for the main event in December.

We saw a man Sunday that had a beautiful full Santa beard. He was eating lunch and he was wearing a Hawaiian shirt and shorts. When we went shopping we found a store that actually had visits with Santa for their Christmas in July sale. Of course the sign said Santa would be back in 1 hour. I bet I know where he was. :santa1:

This is so sad. My favorite Craig Morgan song is Almost Home. He also does a Christmas version of Bonfire I really like. :holly1:
