I finally watched Vacation. The movie with the grown up Rusty Griswold and his family. It was okay. I would have liked it much better if Clark and Ellen were still living in the house from Christmas Vacation.

Beginning last night and continuing this morning I feel deep sadness and anger at the senseless violence in Nice, France. My love and prayers for all. My Christmas heart bleeds tears this day.

A few years back I bought my dd a copy of Frosty on DVD. The clerk had to see my ID before she could sell it too me. Maybe the melting scene was too much violence. I don't know but it's a Christmas memory I still laugh about.

When I got home from work yesterday, I found out that Michelle had been watching Christmas movies all day. And she had set the DVR to record even more. I"m thinking she might be starting her conversion to a CAY'er.
