Cat hotel was a bust as we could not get to it via public transportation, wound up in the middle of no where with the next bus coming by only twice a day. However, the day was redeemed with a great dinner across the street. I got my Christmas in July pork fil'e Hawaii.

I continue to recover from the super flu. Perky however will need an MRI on his stomach and liver. Praying they find nothing.

Found a slow cooker recipe for Polynesian chicken, might try making a Christmas in July dinner tomorrow after all. If I am really ambitious and can get coconut milk at the local grocery, I might make haupia as well.

We are heading to the beach for the last day of Christmas in July. We're taking KK (daughter, 20 yrs old) with us. Should be a lot of fun. :elfgrin:
