Christmas in July Polynesian chicken was great! A few modifications next time but Perky has requested it to the be new "Christmas in July" official meal.
I Think the following clip describes how some of us felt this Christmas in July:

Fortunately, we all know that Christmas lives in the heart and Friday Christmases have now returned! Woohoo!

On to Christmas in August!

Love the Hallmark Countdown to Christmas movies. Just wish this didn't start before Halloween but I'll still be watching. :merrysanta:

Silver Bells"

Silver Bells, Silver Bells
It's Christmas time in the city
Ring-a-ling, hear them ring
Soon it will be Christmas Day

City sidewalks
Busy sidewalks
Dressed in holiday style
In the air there's
A feeling of Christmas
Children laughing
People passing
Meeting smile after smile
And on every
Street corner you'll hear

Silver Bells, Silver Bells
It's Christmas time in the city
Ring-a-ling, hear them sing
Soon it will be Christmas Day

Strings of street lights
Even stoplights
Blink a bright red and green
As the shoppers rush home
With their treasures
Hear the snow crunch
See the kids bunch
This is Santa's big scene
And above all
This bustle you'll here

Silver Bells, Silver Bells
It's Christmas time in the city
Ring-a-ling, hear them sing
Soon it will be Christmas Day

Silver Bells, Silver Bells
It's Christmas time in the city
Ring-a-ling, hear them sing
Soon it will be Christmas Day

Soon it will be Christmas Day
Soon it will be Christmas Day
Soon it will be Christmas Day

Soon it will be Christmas Day

The best way to spread Christmas cheer is singing loud for all to hear ~~Buddy the Elf

We found some Celtic Thunder Christmas videos on youtube late last night and enjoyed them greatly. There is not an entire special posted but I think one must be available somewhere. I never knew they had filmed Christmas songs. A nice Christmas in July surprise.

Looking over early Christmas time calendars it seems we are going to be very very busy with Hallmark movies, tv retro classics and scheduled activities. They all start earlier this year. I may be decorating early too. Now if only one could bake and store a few months ahead all the goodies family/friends expect that time of year.

The rain is over and it's so cool and crisp outside it feels just like Fall. :peekleaves2: Cool weather always puts me in the Christmas Spirit. :jump:

I know that Hallmark starts playing Christmas movies on Saturday. November 1st is a Tuesday and if they wait til the next Saturday it'll be the 5th of November. I guess it would limit the schedule too much. The more Christmas the better. :smilecc:

The Hallmark Facebook posts says the movies this year will start on Saturday October 29. That's a good deal more Cristmas cheer! :lights:
