My two best friends.
The vet and his staff(he takes such good care of Ollie)
My Hairdresser (she takes such good care of me)
My manicurist too
OHs best friend and his partner
A few of our friends and their kids
Our neighbour always gets a cake or pudding
My close clients - I usually get them chocolates or wine
I know there are a few others but I just can't think at the moment - will update when I remember

  • Kids' teachers
  • The teacher I volunteer with
  • babysitter
  • newspaper carrier (when I can catch her)
  • the neighbours on both sides (the ones who get to hear my kids noises and I get to hear their music and kids too. although on one side they are Jehovah's Witnesses and do not celebrate Christmas or any holidays) - usually some homemade goodies.

The list could go on forever.

We also buy for the giving tree each year - one present for a boy and one for a girl.

At one time, I would have a little something for the milk man, postie, my hairdresser and a few work colleagues. And of course, while they were in school the kids needed something for a favourite teacher or two.

Nowadays its down to a card for our very good landlord and one each for my hairdresser and esthetician. Its a bit depressing, when you write it down like this, seeing how much your circle of acquaintances has shrunk. :|

Sorry so late to reply: yes and no. Some people moved away; some jobs we now do ourselves; but there are still many people to remember. That is another reason I shop all year for bargains on great gifts!
