That would be Rainy Sunday Christmas for me. We are getting a thunderstorm and it's pouring down. :scene:

I'm not sure if I told my Christmas friends here, but I'm helping organize a Christian men's conference (1000-3000 men) that will be held next Friday and Saturday. It has consumed a lot of my time and that's why I've been absent at times.

Michelle, KK, and I went to the beach today. We had a lot of fun and got a little burnt. I think I still have sand in my hair. :D
I totally forgot to build a Christmas snowman in the sand. Darn! Maybe next time.

Had an interesting church service this evening, the electric was out so we old fashioned our church service from the music all the way to the prayer. As I had sweat running down my face it made me wonder if in the older days if they looked forward to Christmas and winter coming as much as I do today?

When I was little and went to church with my grandparents, in the Indiana countryside, the old churches did not have A/C. Whew. I remember those sweltering services. People used paddle fans to try and cool themselves. All I could do was wish for Christmas snow! :snowwow:

Today UPS should deliver my new 3ft Christmas tree for our living room. I am so excited and tempted to set it up now. That would be a bit awkward though when I put up all the Autumn decorations. Oh, well, the anticipation of Christmas decorating is part of the fun of the season.
