Yes. Right shoulder. Torn labrum. Should be out of work for 4-6 weeks.
That means more time for ChristmasAllYear.org

My question too. Is it more back surgery? Is a date scheduled before Christmas?

My shoulder surgery is this coming Tuesday, Aug 16.
I have an appointment with my back doctor on Aug 24.
We'll start talking then about X-rays, MRI's, and surgery.
Hopefully I will have my back done before Christmas.

God has really blessed me with these opportunities to get better.
Trusting in Him for a good result.

The thing is none of them truly smell exactly like a tree but also the aroma only carries in the air in a small area in the house. I still use the candles and other items but if you have a permanent solution idea I would really appreciate your sharing it with all of us. Thanks. :treeclap:

What about a real Christmas tree wreath? if your family is not allergic.

Thanks Jolly. That is a great Christmas idea! Although they don't last long here, even indoors, it would make the house smell Christmas awesome! :holly1:

My Traditions catalog arrived yesterday and I enjoyed leafing through its pages. It did not have a single Christmas item though?? Online there is a holiday tab and I saw some pretty Christmas glass candle holders that would make a great gift! :opengifts:

Are there any tree mulching places in your area? The ex used to mulch the yard with the stuff for that "all year Christmas" aroma. Didn't do much for my allergies though. Hachoo! You could plant some houseplants with it. Can't vouch for cats. My cats with the ex didn't pay it any mind at all. Since her walkabout, Zelma however eats anything green including Christmas tree branches with needles. We grow cat grass for her, so we can't have any other plants since she is now "allowed" to eat green things.

The Dollar Family store here already has Autumn items on display. They are selling fast. Last night I stopped by and picked up some more Autumn garlands and pumpkins. When I decorate for Autumn every table has some kind of fake pumpkin and/or guord on display. I really miss decorating outside too with real pumpkins but they rot here in the 100ish temperatures. I am so ready for a seasonal change! And by late September they will be stocking Christmas items once again. :scene:
