We're another day closer to Christmas. :penny:

Our weather is stifling hot. This summer we have had 31 days at or over 110F! That almost double our normal summer range of 18 days above 110F. There is no relief in sight per the weather people but I keep on hoping for some pre-Christmas cooler weather! :muffs:

My Dh brought home a Grandin catalog that is filled with patio accessories on sale. A little late for that mode of shopping for me. I am in the pre-Christmas mood of shopping. Well...........I have so much stuff, let's say I shop with my eyes for the family. But I did see a great battery operated strong of lights in the C-6 size that would make a great Christmas gift!! :blinky1:

Thankful Thursday, and why am I thankful, all kids are either back in school or back at college waiting for classes to start. It is a little feeling of Christmas in middle of August. :smilecc:

I saw a pin this morning about a reverse advent. You simply get a box and on each day starting December 1st you add a new canned good to the box. On Christmas Eve you donate it to a food bank. It's a great idea! :smilecc:

This monsoon weather is something else. So here's to staying inside to watch a Christmas movie since its raining again and you can't go outside to mow your yard. :snowtoast:

Freeform is showing Home Alone 2 right now. Nothing like a preview of 25 days till Christmas.

Merry Friday Christmas! I asked a co worker if she wanted to go to the restaurant at the univ that still has their Christmas decorations up for "Christmas in August" next week. She hasn't responded. She is probably still shaking her head.
