After a beautiful weekend in the Fall covered mountains I am feeling very happy and refreshed. When Autumn temperatures and foliage cover the mountains I know Christmas is not very far away!!

Thanks Christmas Crazy! Our Sunday was spent in a cathedral of autumnal forests, solitude, and meditating on God's awesome creation. Even as a small child I always felt closer to God = then I wondered if there was a God - in his creation. Even today, I am most at peace in nature. Quiet time like that is a soul refresher for me! So glad your Sunday was a quiet restful one too.

Just received news that my brother finished his Spanish spiritual journey and is now riding the bus to Madrid. He finished his projectged timeline ahead of schedule and will enjoy 3 days in Madrid to rest, sightsee again, and eat better food. He said he feels closer to God, met some wonderful people, and looks forward to finishing the second half of the hike next year. He averaged 18.5-20 miles per day going up hill and down in the Pyrenes!! He needs to do that before Christmas! :wink:

Family are posting pictures of early Autumn east of the grand Mississippi. I am enjoying every picture as they finish their last long weekend before the holidays. Now it is time to focus on Christmas gifts! If we get below 100F I will rejoice here too!
