We broke that record long ago. Last year was the most Christmas posts at 3133.
Whoosh! We flew by it.

I'm dreaming of a white Christmas
Just like the ones I used to know
Where the treetops glisten
And children listen
To hear sleigh bells in the snow

I'm dreaming of a white Christmas
With every Christmas card I write
May your days be merry and bright
And may all your Christmases be white

I'm dreaming of a white Christmas
Just like the ones I used to know
Where the treetops glisten
And children listen
To hear sleigh bells in the snow

I'm dreaming of a white Christmas
With every Christmas card I write
May your days be merry and bright
And may all your Christmases be white

A man was asked what he was looking most forward to this Christmas. His reply....that the presidential election will be over. Yup. I'm right there with you buddy. :smilecc:

I had to get stamps yesterday and they gave me songbirds in snow. :feedbird: They would look great on Christmas cards. :hohat:

People are cutting open their persimmon seeds and finding knives and spoons. That's supposed to mean ice and snow. I'm good with snow. If it's for Christmas. :snowink: :snowball:

Some sites don't count today, so they are already at the 100 days until Christmas mark. Either way, I'm happy!! :smilecc: :D :santa1:

Do you think that they count Christmas Eve Day as a Christmas day as well as Christmas Day?
Or do they wake up Christmas Eve and say "zero days till Christmas"? Which makes no sense at all.

Today's holiday countdown toi Christmas includes:

NATIONAL CHEESE TOAST DAY

National Cheese Toast Day is observed annually on September 15th. This is a day to enjoy the cheesy goodness of this classic dish.

Cheese Toast is a delicious thick slice of bread spread with butter and cheese, then toasted until it is browned and crispy. It was created by Del Johnson of Los Angeles in 1958 when he opened his first Sizzler restaurant. It was an instant success and although the recipe has changed a bit over the years, the concept of Cheese Toast has been around for more than five decades.

HOW TO OBSERVE:
Go to Sizzler for lunch or dinner or try your hand at making Cheese Toast at home if you don’t have a Sizzler near you.

HISTORY:
National Cheese Toast Day was submitted by Sizzler USA in July of 2015. The Registrar at National Day Calendar declared National Cheese Toast Day to be celebrated on September 15th.
