Canada Day

Celebrate!!

Canada Day

Postby Mrs.Claus » Wed Jun 25, 2008 6:31 pm

Canada Day is fast approaching - July 1st!!!

Hopefully we'll be able to go to events and activities which are happening all day and then to a fireworks display at night. I say hopefully because our weather is so messed up lately - is it going to rain or not?

Our weather has been iffy too. I hope your Canada day festivities don't get rained out!

What does your family have planned for Canada Day?

I miss the fireworks and bbqs for Canada Day. But I'll be back in Canada for it next year!

Happy Canada Day!

Check this out for a glimpse at our old flag before the Maple Leaf Flag you recognize today was raised.

That’s Anne Murray singing. I like this song sometimes better than O Canada.

:flake: You headin' West when you come back, Merry?

We had our BBQ pork ribs lastnight. Gosh, when I was little our entire neighbourhood had a Canada Day block party with fireworks usually lit in my backyard. It was great fun!
