I love the small town I work in (9000 residents).
They put the Christmas lights up on the telephone poles today!!! :smilecc: :snowwow:

Swedes don't take down their decorations until 13 January, because of work schedules, etc, ours usually stay up until close to the end of the month. IN Sweden such valentine's motifs as cupids and hearts are also used at Christmas, so we leave up the red stuff until Valentine's day. I was going to get some new Christmas-Valentine's day duvet covers, but one company came out with some really cute "tomte" duvet covers for Christmas. I might just have to get those........

I love it when they hang Christmas decorations on the poles around town. Nothing like the homey feel of a small town Christmas. :scene:
