My thought for the day.....Monday's are scary enough without having Halloween on one. But then I don't like it when Christmas Eve and Day fall on the weekends. :holly1:

I have added another project to my big, long list. Fundraising. We've already started selling stuff and we have a Christmas Bazaar next month. Anyone have any unique fundraising ideas? :scene:

Congratulations! You've been entrusted with a very important job. Our kids are the most precious gifts from God. Glad you have this opportunity. Your Christmas service will be extra special this year. joyelf

Happy Halloween to all my Christmas friends! I was pleasantly surprised to find October Kiss from Hallmark on Netflix! Maybe they will have some of their Christmas movies there too!

It's November 1st, I feel like the whole world has changed because our time of the year is finally arriving. I can finally talk Christmas with everyone else that's in my life and I know there will be more chatter from all of you CAYer's. So enjoy today and no that Christmas is getting closer and I am getting more and more excited than in years past (when I think about it is kinda hard to believe is possible). :smilecc:

We had our time change last weekend. It's never any Christmas fun. I have a Denver travel clock that it takes me days to figure out how to change the alarm. For some reason, the "alarm" time stays on the old time even if the face time is right. As frustrating as getting coal in your stocking on Christmas morning.

Who else ate too much candy yesterday? I eat much more candy on Halloween than any time of year. Christmas doesn't come close because the dessert table is so plentiful. My excuse? "It gives me energy". And during a double shift that is the truth!
