Yes it does fly at reindeer speed now. I need a week to decorate the house inside and out plus the tree. Then a week for cards, gifts, parties and baking. Next thing you know it is the week of Christmas!!

Hope all my Christmas friends are enjoying their week. I am trying to decide what Movies to load on my various devices for the long flight over the ocean? I am thinking Thanksgiving on the way over and Christmas on the way back. Any suggestions?

My only suggestion: movies, like Hallmark, you have waited to see when you have the time. Your idea of Christmas on the way back to Sweden seems perfect to me.

Glad Fredagsjul! There is a swedish concept of "fredagsmys" loosely translated as Friday relaxation and is promoted as a family night in front of the tv with finger foods. Though strangely enough tacos are also promoted. Tacos are not something we eat in the living room ;-). Instead of Fredagsmys, we have fredagsjul.

This weekend is All Saints day weekend. Tomorrow we will go plant the cemetery garden. It will be cold but at least not raining as expected. I hope.

50 Days until Christmas!!

Last night we actually had another dust storm which is not normal. The heat and dust storms are a 25 year above normal range. EEK. Thankfully we did get 2 minutes of light rain afterwards. Rain here is the equivalent to snow elsewhere and it makes it feel like Christmas weather is finally coming!
