Well we woke up to an election that's over with no lawsuits or challenges. That feels like an early Christmas gift to me. :smilecc:

I'm also glad that our church has set the dates for Christmas dinner and the ladies Christmas party for early in December. We have so much stuff packed into such a short time frame this is really gonna help. We can enjoy more Christmas celebrations without feeling guilty for missing something. :rabstar:

A few years ago I invested over $200 in a Christmas tree. The tree is in perfect condition except that's it's a prelit tree and one strand of lights has quit working. I have actually considered throwing away of giving away this tree. Then this morning I decided I'm using it again. I'll just drape lights around it. You can't even see the prelit strands on the tree so it won't matter about them. Actually draping new strands on it will give it more of the old fashioned look that I really like. I can't believe how silly I would have been to replace this tree because of one light strand. :treewiggle: :treewiggle:

Noel whenever you get them sent out is fine with me. I just bought mine and thought I'd send them at the same time I mail Christmas cards. :smilecc:

I attended the sweetest Veterans Day program at my daughters school. I'm so glad these children are being taught respect and how to honor our veterans. I enjoyed this program almost as much as their Christmas one.

As you know, it is also my favorite charity. The catalog allows us to gift all year long, but the Christmas Boxes are the most touching.
