Reflecting on all the joys and blessings in my life due to God's gracious heart! As I am baking foods for our celebration feast today, I have so very much to be grateful for today. I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving with good food, great friends, and loving family! Thanksgiving has always been a special part of my Christmas season. I can't imagine having one without the other. Hugs to all my CAY friends.

For the first time ever, tonight, at about 10 pm, I went out shopping for Christmas. There were no crowds at my local Walmart. Everyone was polite and calm. I picked up a new iPhone for my wife and some movies for my father. It as a good experience. I am not saying I would do it every year, but it was a good experience tonight. I didn't even have to wait in line!

My Thanksgiving was a wonderful one. All our family set aside discussions on politics [my rule at the table]. My sister's home was beautifully decorated for Thanksgiving. Our conversations were meaningful, we cheered on the Cowboyus, and made plans for Christmas. A truly thankful Thursday!

Did a little Black Friday shopping today. I bought some new Christmas decorations, but I was way more excited about the awesome deals on everyday items. :lol:

My morning errands are all completed and now it is time for a relaxing lunch. Gas prices were down - yay! The post office oopened early so all my Christmas cards and packages are safely on their way across the USA/world. Now I am staring at 10 bins of Christmas decorations; 12 sacks of Christmas decorations; and thinking.......I need a nap! :wink:
