Who's Up For An Ornament Exchange

Postby CandyKane » Tue Jun 28, 2016 8:36 pm

Christmas Crazy posted a pic of a lovely little ornament he purchased and it gave me an idea. We could do an ornament exchange. To keep costs down we could draw names like some of us do for gift exchange that way we would only have the costs associated with one ornament. It could be purchased, handmade, or even a vintage ornament. Who's in? :smilecc:

You want my new ornament don't you?
When we draw names and I get you, I'll know it was rigged. :P

I'm in!

 Well now that you mention it... :smilecc:  Just kidding! We need someone to draw the names for us. And when should we draw?? And I need to warn everyone up front that I have access to Arkansas Razorback ornaments and I know how to make Rudolph out of Popsicle sticks.

And I must warn everyone I can make a pretty darn cute snowman out of a tube sock :snowman1: plus I have several year round Christmas stores around me. :D

We can have your dd draw the names. Tell her she gets to be Santa for a day. :santa:

As it was your idea CK then you should draw the names. Maybe your DD could help. Or since there are only 3 of us we could just send one to each of the other two elves.

Please draw in early November so we have time to shop/send/craft and mail in early December. Thanks! :D

Since there is only 3 I vote to send to the other 2 as well. What do you think Christmas Crazy?

I bought my Christmas ornaments this weekend. I'm planning on sending them with my Christmas card the day after Thanksgiving if that's good with both of you. :hohat:

Ornaments and Christmas cards went out in the mail yesterday.
Thank you both so much for my ornaments. I feel bad that my Christmas card is not as festive and pretty as yours, but just know my heart wishes you and your families all the best at Christmas and throughout the following year. God bless you both!

Christmas Crazy: it is not how costly or fancy a card or gift is that matters. It is the size of the heart of the giver. And your heart is huge at Christmas and always!!

Just love my ornaments hanging brightly on my tree. Your cards are sitting on the tables for everyone to read. They cheer me up everytime I look at them! :D

Noel and Christmas Crazy. I'll be mailing your cards and ornaments soon. Don't feel obligated to send an ornament back. Just had some extra special ones this year and I wanted to share with my Christmas buddies.
