I too was looking for the NES Classic this Christmas. Without success I am now looking to build one using a Raspberry Pi mini computer. It is a fully programmable inexpensive ($30-50) kit that will be fun to learn on.

A Christmas prayer request: a family friend of ours since I was a teenager is having open heart surgery today. He has had two multiple bypass surgeries in the past and now needs a leg vein to replace a stent. He and his family are traveling hundreds of miles this morning because yesterday the regional hospital system moved his surgery far from home. The surgery is 9-11am Pacific time here in the USA. Please you Christmas elves for remembering these precious people who love the King of Christmas. :nav2:

My plan for a happy cleaning day listening to Christmas tunes didn't work out. First I didn't feel well at all so that slowed me down. Then I spent my day dealing with lots of little aggravating issues that came up. Ugh! I went to bed sick, feeling like I hadn't accomplished anything, and like a wife and mommy failure. But it's a bright, shiny new day. I feel 100% better this morning and ready to start again. :smilecc:

One thing I've really started to hate is Facebook messenger. It seems like everyone I know has felt the need to start a group and include me so I can get distracting messages all day long. :| I'd gladly trade them all for one happy Christmas group. :D :santa:

I just finished ordering dds dance costume and the gear she needs for this Spring. At over $300 I'm calling it an early Christmas present. :santadance:

Perky has a job interview on Friday in a Place in the middle of nowhere. It is only half time and 50 minutes away by car and ferry........He is as enthused as a kid who got coal on Christmas morning. Praying for one of the other jobs to come through tomorrow!

Storms and cooler weather headed this way tonight. It's going to be more like Christmas than Spring the next 2 days. But then back into the mid to high 70's for the weekend.
