We have a bird feeder right outside the dining room window. It is always wonderful to see the same male and female cardinal pair there every day. The male's bright red against the snow is such a pretty sight and reminds me of Christmas every day.

Merry Friday Christmas! Perky went to his interview in the middle of nowhere wearing his camo sweat pants and navy t shirt. It was my suggestion that he go in his sloppy "at home" clothes, but I really did not think he would do it. I brought him a change of clothes to the university in case he gets called for a late interview here today. Just his Christmas luck to get called on a job he wants when dressed for a job he does not.

46F in the bedroom this morning. It felt like a Texas Christmas.

It feels like Spring here: 85F for at least two days. No Christmas fun.

It feels like Christmas day here this morning. In the 30's. But Spring will be back tomorrow with a high of 76.

Cardinals in the snow. One of my favorite things. I love to see them perch in cedar trees too. They look like beautiful red Christmas decorations.
