The article I read said that if you look closely you can see the actors sweating. I have watched it so many times and they fooled me. It also said some who worked on it didn't actually consider it a Christmas movie. :scene:

Christmas wouldn't be the same for me without Its A Wonderful Life. I don't have it on DVDs but watch it on TV every year. :smilecc:

I've been working outside all morning and it's absolutely hot. First day of Spring and we need a Christmas cool down. :snowwow:

And it was a box office flop when it came out. It didn't become popular until much later.
It was the Christmas miracle of movies.

The French word “Noel” is often used around Christmas, but what was its original meaning in Latin?

It definitely is a Christmas must-see film for me too. I have the DVD, it is on NBC and we still stream it once in a while. There are many teachable moments for children in this classic. Plus, like an annual revisit of A Christmas Carol, it focuses your heart on personal purpose and growth. Next to The Nativity that is essential in this crazy world. :D

We have had 7 days mid-95ish record breaking sunny days in a row. Today our high should be 90F. I have forgotten what cold Christmas weather feels like. :cry:
