The article I read said that if you look closely you can see the actors sweating. I have watched it so many times and they fooled me. It also said some who worked on it didn't actually consider it a Christmas movie.

It definitely is a Christmas must-see film for me too. I have the DVD, it is on NBC and we still stream it once in a while. There are many teachable moments for children in this classic. Plus, like an annual revisit of A Christmas Carol, it focuses your heart on personal purpose and growth. Next to The Nativity that is essential in this crazy world.
