Home from Family summer vacation in OCMD


on the ride back to NJ i said, "Hon, well vacation is over...time to start thinking about christmas!"


then yesterday as i pulledup to the house after a days work my wife was sitting on the front step of the house and i said "Did you get the tree up yet?" lol

while it's a few months before we start decorating for xmas (heck we donen't even started putting fall stuff out until last week in august or first week in sept.) but it sure was nice to think about it.

i think i'm gonna watch some xmas movie at work today.

Pretjah glad to see you home at CAY. I am in the same mood to decorate for Autumn in September because the next decorations are for Christmas!

Awoke before 4am and ordered a new set of woodland deer Christmas decorations from QVC. They are on 3 monthly payments. I already have a similar set of deer with woodland creatures, but this one stole my heart. It is "glistening" with both deer standing and animals under their belly and riding on top. Now how to tell 'him'...........

I usally start with "I have a confession..........." anything I actually did sounds better than what he was afraid he would hear............after 10 years I Think Perky the Christmas elf has caught on to either I broke something or bought something.

Mine just said "ornament or decoration this time?" He tells me I don't have a straight Elf face and he can always tell. Me? Your Perky Elf is one smart Christmas cookie!

I remember you & CandyKane usually have all your decorations up before I start my Fall. But then it is over 100 here most Septembers/Octobers. Still I hope to start Autumn decorating after Labor Day weekend. It all depends on the healing status of my eyes. I am so ready now!!!

I don't care if it's over 100 degrees outside, I'm gonna decorate for Fall as soon as Michelle will let me. She always makes me wait until September first.
I'd put up the Christmas tree earlier if she'd let me.

That is one reason I leave my tree and Christmas decorations up thru January. I wait all year and need more than a month.
